Saint Simons Novel: A Brief Update

Things are looking good for my next book, a middle-grade novel set on Saint Simons Island, Georgia.

Along with my illustrator, I will be trekking down to The Island this weekend for more research and inspiration. We’ll be touring all the highlights of Saint Simons and enjoying the fabulous coastal atmosphere. Stay tuned for more posts and pictures of the trip!

If all goes well, I hope to release the book this summer. The whole process has been, and, I hope, will continue to be an adventure.

In Christ,

Welcome to the official blog from Tabbystone Press! I hope you’ll follow my journey of writing and publishing books.

Presently I’m working on a middle-grade fiction story set on Saint Simons Island, Georgia. It’s a mystery of sorts revolving around the Independence Day holiday and some suspicious happenings with the lighthouse. I have always been enthralled with The Island’s rich history, so this is a chance for me to write about something that is very exciting and special to me.

Look forward to more updates—including photos and a book title—soon!

My current reading list:

  • Mere Christianity by C.S. Lewis
  • St. Simons Island by Burnette Lightle
  • The Silver Chair by C. S. Lewis
